I moved to Hopkins one year ago, and although I am still not fully unpacked, I have decided it is time to open my company, Touch of Art With Terri.
I moved from Grand Forks North Dakota, where I grew up then as an adult moved back with my children. I lived and worked there for more than 20 years. I was an art teacher for many different types of students. From children to adults, and from the disabled to the senior resident, I taught every age group. In 2015 I opened my art party business in Grand Forks with great success, unfortunately, I moved, having to close Touch of Art With Terri.
When I arrived here, in Hopkins, I began teaching art with Young Rembrandts (after-school drawing classes), Minnetonka Community Senior Group (acrylic painting), Lakeville Community Center (adult painting and teen art exploration), and Kiddywampas (ages 3-10 summer art camps and birthday parties).
As of October 2022, I have opened my art party business here in Minnesota. I am starting with children's parties. I will focus on 3 types of art parties; painting, oil pastel or pastel, and watercolor with or without oil pastel; and a traditional tea party.
I am so excited to begin this new chapter with the wonderful people of Minneapolis!
